about
about the space
I created erinohsays in Summer 2011 as a way to deal with depression, anxiety, and overall feelings of self-doubt. I was tired of thinking that the things I created weren’t worth sharing or documenting, and I wanted to challenge myself to ‘put myself out there’ more. erinohsays is a space for me to do just that. Click on one of the categories in the header (zines, videos, etc) to see all of the projects I’ve posted in that medium.

about me
Originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, my dear home and forever keeper of my heart. Founder of the first-ever (and hopefully annual!) Pittsburgh Zine Fair. As of Spring 2012, I’m living in Toronto, Ontario pursuing graduate studies at the University of Toronto in the Sociology of Education. I work as a researcher for the Anti-Poverty Community Organizing and Learning project which is a university-community partnership that looks at how and why people become involved in anti-poverty activism. My research aims to be participatory and community based, and a lot of it takes the form of documentary film and interviews in the Weston-Mount Dennis neighbourhood at the Mt. Dennis Action for Neighbourhood Change community centre.
